In the fall of 2009, I began having some health problems that all had the same consequence: infertility. It was a devastating time, as we weren’t even “trying” to have kids yet, but it looked like the road ahead would be long and difficult.
During this time, the Lord used the song “Wonderful, Merciful Savior” to minister sweetly to me. I played it on repeat anytime I was driving somewhere alone.
Three and a half years later, I sang this song in church yesterday as the mom to three kids with a belly full of baby—a baby whose existence was “extremely unlikely”.
He is faithful, y’all. We truly have a wonderful, merciful savior.
