Seth is seven months old! This month has flown by even faster than the previous ones, if possible. Our boy is growing up before our eyes. I try to squeeze in all the snuggle time I can, because he is already a busy little boy! It was difficult to get pictures of him because he is constantly on the move!
Seth is about 15 pounds and 26 inches long. He wears six month clothes (though not pants—he’s skinny!) and size 2 diapers.
- He is working on sitting up unassisted but isn’t terribly motivated. He can self-correct and adjust his balance now, but he much prefers to lay, stand, and jump!
- We saw what was probably his first temper tantrum, as in all his needs were met but he wanted something different and threw a fit. He woke to eat around 10 one night, so PJ gave him a bottle, changed his diaper, and put him back to bed. However, Seth wanted to nurse to sleep and screamed until I gave in so that I could go to sleep. He was angry-screaming and blew grumpy raspberries in my face when I picked him up. Our boy has quite a will and is now able to express when he isn’t getting what he wants!
- He is an eater! We’ve had some nursing issues, so thankfully he now happily takes formula when necessary. This month, he liked green beans and dramatically rebelled against peas. He also ate PJ’s oatmeal, veggie chips, black-eyed peas, and black beans. I rocked his world by combining sweet potatoes and applesauce. Yum. He also happily gummed an apple slice all during dinner.
- He continues to fill our home with sweetness and joy and is loved and snuggled by all!
