This week…I am glad to tell it goodbye and look forward to the weekend!
King Academy was centered around learning one very important lesson this week: pushing Mom to the brink of insanity is not actually fun. Man, we had some tough days. Blessedly, things began to turn around on Wednesday, and we’re doing well today. It helps that I have my Friday helper playing with kids and cleaning the house!
In science, we continued our studies about the states of matter, volume, and density. We did a “speriment” (Emma) examining the densities of three liquids: corn syrup, water, and oil.
I’m really enjoying our history studies with Story of the World, volume four. We’re studying the period between WWI and WWII right now. I love the global approach, and I learn so much every week! The kids practiced writing in Arabic this week after studying events in Egypt, but I don’t have a picture of that.
And just because, here’s a picture of Seth after an oatmeal breakfast.
