Happy Friday. I am really glad it’s Friday. We started back to school this week after two weeks off for Christmas. Yikes. There’s always next week?
I forgot to take pictures this week, so I’ll just share the highlights of our week:
- Art class at the library! I discovered that the library hosts a weekly after-school class for elementary kids. This week the kids got to create an artwork and then display it gallery-style to the group. It looks like these classes will be a great chance to learn outside of the house, have fun, and be with other kids!
- We got back to jogging after some time off. I don’t know that I will ever like jogging, but it’s good for us…right?!
- We decided to drop Wednesday night choir at church. The class itself was great, but the 4:30 dinner time, 40-minute drive one-way, and kids who think driving in the dark is a good time to be crazy…I always arrived home grumpy at the kids and stressed from the day’s schedule and the drive.
- We started our 10-week physics curriculum. It’s the first time we’ve studied physics. It’s not quite as scripted/structured as I’d like, but it looks like it will be a good elementary-level overview and fits in well with the time we have left for the year.
That’s all, folks! Linking up with Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers.
