Hello! We have been homeschooling, I promise. And traveling. :-)
We went to Atlanta over MLK weekend to see some dear friends who have recently moved there. We had a wonderful time catching up, wrangling eight kids, and snuggling their new baby! We went to the Georgia Aquarium, which was awesome. We made it through a whole day and saw some really interesting sea creatures.
As far as school, we’ve been getting back into a regular routine. I don’t have a whole lot of specifics to report, as we’ve been sticking to the basics to leave time for the Atlanta trip and for PJ’s trip to Arkansas for a job interview. (We’re not moving to Arkansas.)
In our history studies, I’ve enjoyed reading some interesting biographies with the kids: Helen Keller, Dwight Eisenhower, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Jr.
We’re gearing up for another week of learning!
