This is a post for 31 Days about making it as a mom. Check out the intro post if this is your first time here!
We're almost done! Today I'm going to share my favorite parenting books, and I want to hear from you, too!
Give Them Grace, by Elyse Fitzpatrick and Jessica Thompson: I come back to this book again and again. It's the best resource I've found for grasping what the gospel means in correcting and training our children.
Treasuring Christ When Your Hands Are Full, by Gloria Furman: Everything she writes is so encouraging.
Loving the Little Years and Fit to Burst, by Rachel Jankovic: These are short books with short chapters, perfect for busy moms! Rachel helps me take motherhood more lightly.
Parenting With Love and Logic, by Cline and Fay: I'm guessing everyone has heard of the Love and Logic books, but they're popular for a reason! We've gotten some stock phrases for certain situations out of these.
And on my to-read list: Sacred Parenting, by Gary Thomas. I loved Sacred Marriage, and I expect Sacred Parenting to be a great resource.
